Hello, and welcome to the Shadow Racers! We’re a racing team devoted to casual and informal racing - but that doesn’t mean we’re all casual!

We offer two types of street racing and a huge assortment of circuit racing for those who dabble in both! Lobbies will be held on a semi-regular basis and will be announced in this thread. We will also have more serious events every once in a while, and they are decided by community vote!

GT6 Community Club: 1059478

So, here are our admins:

@Obelisk - Wangan/Circuit

ruwan1969 - Circuit

@CursedDR15 - Touge

@Harsk100 - Rally

We also have a Forza Horizon 2 section in the works, administered by @xXPeacockXx and myself, and a possible Forza 6 group later on.

In addition, we have a story thread here.

Now, club rules:

  1. All racing is clean. No exceptions.

  2. All racers must be respectful and courteous to others.

  3. If there is a dispute, contact me and I will review the evidence from both sides.

  4. No swearing or vulgarities in or out of lobbies. There may be a periodic slip-up from time to time. Accidents happen and we do forgive you if you slip up a bit.

  5. Have fun!

  6. Rage-quitting in a serious event will be punishable by a ban from competitive events based on how impactful the rage-quit is. Seriously, don’t get mad. It’s a game. This also nets a strike.

  7. Anyone caught cheating or ignoring regulations will be barred from casual and competitive lobbies for a week after two warnings and given a strike.

  8. We use a three strike system here. You will be banned from the club outright if you get three strikes. A log of all rule violations will be kept by admins.

  9. Keep in mind GTPlanet’s AUP. Any infractions committed in this thread hurts us, too. Depending on the infraction, we will give a strike at minimum or outright banned at worst scenario. Minor violations such as grammatical errors or double posts are forgiven, if they do not occur often.

  10. Have fun!

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Please keep in mind that while Course Maker tracks are fine with us, there is a large number of connection issues with Course Maker lobbies.

We strongly suggest that CM lobby hosts use “Fixed Host” and Standard ( *** ) lobby quality to minimize network issues.

I am opening a circuit lobby tonight! We'll be going to Fuji Speedway, and using the Expert circuit spec.

For a refresher: It's 600 horsepower max and 900 kilograms minimum. Use Sports: Soft tires.

It didn't quite take off...
Well, you did start at the end of GT6's popularity, and with what was left of the touge community, it was split between HR, LotS, and other small pockets. GTS or if GT7 does become a thing if GTS tanks, it could be a good starting point there

We had discussed this internally before, but now that GTS is around the corner, we'll talk again.
