Sharkport Question

Hey, so i got my sharkport today and i tried to make some hybrids. I got the hybriding part down but the saving the hybrid to the memory card is just damn confusing or not working... soo heres my problem:

I make the hybrid, save it as a new garage
Try to get it import it to the game save from my pc to the sharkport program
And this is where it is messing up, it wont load the save... I click the file, and it just closes the little window and the save doesn't get uploaded to the game saves screen to load it to the memory card...

am i doing something wrong or is something faulty???

You need to make sure to save your garage (after hybriding) to the same file you uploaded from your PS2... Which would be in the gameshark folder, under game saves (I think)...

Ya, i do save my garage to the same folder. But then when i try to upload that gt3gamesave (something like that) to the sharkport program thats where im having touble. It seems like im doing everything right, its just the program isn't reading the file correctly or something.

Explain in detail what steps you take, and what is going wrong... I've been hybriding a long time, so I'm sure I can help you.... I just need more detail, so I have a better idea of what the problem is...

Okay, here it goes.

First off i open the sharkport program, and mk's program

Then i find the GT3 saves from my memory card, there are 4 different ones: icon0.ico, icon.sys, BASCUS-97102GAMEDATA, and thumbnail.

I Backup The BASCUS-97102GAMEDATA to my PC, into a folder made by sharkport

Then I go into Mk's program, click read garage, and there are 11 different GT3 game files now (this is where i start to get confused)

So i just choose one of them, and it will load a few different cars into mk's prog.

I play around with the parts and stuff on a car (this part is the easy part, and fun part)

Then i click write garage, and overwrite it to the same file i opened up.

So back to the sharkport (heres my real problem), i go to PC database, gran turismo 3: A spec, and import saves.

When it opens up the folder to search the file you want to import, i find the same 11 GT3 files, that are like the garage files. So i choose the one i edited, click open and it does absolutely nothing. There are no new saves in the PC database.

First you need to make sure to back up your memory card (in the sharkport program)... Then open MK's... Read garage... Go to "program files", "interact", "sharkport 2", "saved games", then find the newest GT3 game save...

Then I go into Mk's program, click read garage, and there are 11 different GT3 game files now (this is where i start to get confused)

So i just choose one of them, and it will load a few different cars into mk's prog.

If you wave your mouse over the files, you will see the date and time they were created... Choose the newest file...

So back to the sharkport (heres my real problem), i go to PC database, gran turismo 3: A spec, and import saves.

I found the problem... You need to hit "restore" to send the file back to your memory card...
