i need help setting the suspension for the cobra that has every part u can get and is makin 730hp and 850tq. Can someone help me with its handling and braking!?

well i have medium racing tires and i have no idea what im doin with the suspension...im lost....the car wont stop fast enough and skids all over the road on turns....it handles really weak. :nervous:

I put up a suspension setting for the 66 AC cobra 427. it can't be that off from the american version.

however, I have updated the suspension a little on it. with the settings as they were when posted my best nurburg time was 8 minutes, I have it down to 7:28 and some change with the new settings.

the problem with the car is it is extremely light, with any bump it will get squirly, especially if you are braking and go over the bump unevenly. I haven't been able to tune that out without totally trashing the handling of the car. and seeing as there are only 3 places on the ring where that really affects you, it is something I have decided to adjust to with my driving.

anyway, when I get home tonight I'll post up my new settings in this thread. maybe they'll help, maybe they'll at least give you some ideas (this is afterall my first car to seriously try and tune the suspension on).

yeah I've had this same problem! but immediately since I know the cobra don't have handles. I just cranked up ASM over/understeer and a little on the TCS also. another thing I did (since it doesn't have enough down force) I gave it a little demon drop "nose down, rear up" very very small amount. to give the body some down force, which helped a bit at high speeds and bumpy tracks. other little things helped here and there but the car over all doesn't handle very well. once you've got the settings in, it just takes some to get to know the car and how to break early enough to make the turn. (IMO break softly first, don't just slam on the breaks "if you're using the steering wheel" if on the controller, tap it several times. giving it that ABS deal.) hopefully this helps...?

if not, I'll check my settings later and you can try mine instead and see if that works...
