Mid engine American v8 in a British chassis... No, not the GT40. The Shelby Cooper Monaco King Cobra was the program Carroll was working on just before Ford asked him to go put Ferrari in their place. Beautiful car, successful racer, now a classic. Perfect for GT6.

Nice! I'm kind of a Carroll Shelby fan, and this car is simply beautiful. If I recall correct it's got a 289 cubic inch Ford high-compression V8, producing around 400hp. Great idea, I'll leave a like!

Definitely one of the ultimate greatest cars Shelby ever produced.

I saw this car race and win back in the day. It was based on an earlier version, usually driven by a 2.5 liter Coventry Climax inline 4. This car, and the Lotus 19, revolutionized sports car racing back in the early '60's.
