I wanted to battle with Night_Drifter. We setted the battle in Trial Mountain, 2 laps. One exhibition and other speed drfiting. I made the vid quickly and after that he told me he wouldn't be able to make the vid.
So I want to show you my video.

Enjoy! Any comments?

Amzaing Video and the speed drifting, damn thats fast, i'll make a video out of it with my STI and show it to you ok, but i wont battle anyone for now on no more......i like the drift and its great, nice job and worth it everything, practice more and you will be invincible with that Trueno.....

Nice, I would like to see better angles on the exhibition drifts. your racing drifts were very fast, how much hp does your car have?
P.S. nice job on the video

Thanks to all.
The exhibition car has 277hp (NA)
The racing drift car has 380 hp (turbo)
I'm not a big fan of high angles, just good control and link corners.

So i'm not the only one after all *does the superman pose (of some reason)* But then again, angle is pretty important, but those crazy 160 degree drifts are stupid IMHO....

Very nice vid btw 👍

The crazy AWD angles are stupid, I completely agree with that. However, angle is very important in exhibition drifting, and you can get a lot bigger (realistic) angles, than what you are getting, Sheron........ I mean, that's what exhibition drifting is all about, it's about show, and bigger angles are more entertaining to watch. Furthermore, you can link all over the place, and have bigger angles, it doesn't have to be one or the other........

;)

I know, there's always a room for improvement.

And instead of making other thread I'll post here the link to other video I've made.
It's non-stop drifting in Apricot Hill. For linking the 2 hairpins I used the grass, it isn't a mistake. I needed all wideness of the track.

And Jocker, speak english please.

I usually use the chaser ( )
This is how far i've linked Apricot Hill with it. I didnt use that technique when you just run i 'S' on the straights. That's not real linking IMHO!

i linked all of apricot hill a couple times. i taped wihout straights but i've done with straights a few times too.

anyways, sweet ass video, sheron.

Wowow. The video rocked my socks! I just got into drifting and am currently working on it. hopefully I can make a cool video everyone will go "ooooh" to, too. Anyway, keep on keepin' on!

The first thing to achieve that cornering speed is the car. You'll need to fine tune it.
Then is the driver, just pratice. I did a lot of laps (around 100) to reach that goal, a lot of them when I was setting up the car, and testing different settings.

Good vid. I really like the exhibition drift, for a exhibition drift, good speed. In racing drift, I think you need to get more angle, but good drift, I really like this vid. Keep praticing.

Racing drift is not about getting angle. It is about taking the best line and pushing the tire to the maximum grip to make use of it all. Make the car drift without countersteering or turning the wheel is the best way to drift ;)

i bow to the masters but wasn't the "racing drift" just racing? There didn't appear to be any drifting just slight skid while the tires are under pressure at entrances and exits. Am i grievously mistaken:( please correct me if i am.

cheers

The slight skid while cornering is also called drifting.

Speed doesn't matter in exhibition.
If I get more angle in the racing one, the cornering speed would be lower.

Hey Sheron! I followed the link from the NK4E vs. KC thread... can you post the video on youtube? I can't access the gwinbeer server and from what I see in this thread this video is a must see.... 👍 👍
