Thanks.Yeah, the handling on Shift 2 is excellent at being slippy and trippy. I personally struggle on occasion with that game, but it still has that excitement about it (for better and worse). I still use all of the default button mappings.
My 'Advanced Wheel Settings' setup:
FFB Strength: 100
Steering Deadzone: 2
Steering Sensitivity: 65
Throttle Deadzone: 6
Throttle Sensitivity: 50
Brake Deadzone: 6
Brake Sensitivity: 50
Clutch Deadzone: 6
Clucth Sensitivity: 50
Speed Sensitivity: 50
Speed Sensitivity (Drift): 100 (I don't drift much, so take that with a grain of salt)
Steering Lock: 360
Steering Lock (Drift): 250
Inversions: Normal
I still have my fair share of problems, but this setup works more or less for me. Hope it helps.
Thanks.
the steering lock, and steering lock (Drift) i can only go up to 100?
Also do you tune cars?
k.That's strange. Luckily the lock isn't overly important, you just have to find the range that works for you, based on time and experience. If it feels like it takes too much effort for a smaller input, the value needs to go down, and vice versa.
And I haven't really given (extensive) tuning a shot. I'm far better at tuning/tweaking in GT, though I'm familiar with how everything works in Shift. I can happily help you out if needed, but I would have to do a bunch of testing to get you a good tune, as I don't just have tunes at the ready.
