Oh, hi.

I was drifting and decided to record the replay with my super duper awesome camera. Okay, so it's not super duper awesome but the quality is still moderate.

Two laps on London Millennium in a Nissan S13 Silvia. It's not flawless because I'm not perfect.
I call the car the "Fresh n' Sexy S13"

Enjoy, comment, hate, love, etc.

👍 👍

That's Awesome !!

Lot better than anything i've managed so far !
Any chance you can tell me what upgrades you did to the Silvia ? Body kit, Clutch, engine replacement, etc please :)
I couldn't use it at all so splashed out on a Supra, but that won't go sideways for the life of the thing lol !

Thanks !

I think I still held the highest drift score on London Millennium... (on the PS3, around 1k+ if I'm not mistaken) but that really look like a nice run! :)

To be honest, I think the tuning is mostly is stock, except for the ride height and some sleight damper and spring settings. I did all the upgrades and had the last body kit(not Works).

Is this on a wheel or DS3? How in the world can you even drift? It's the only thing that i currently can't do on either wheel or DS3 controller. Would you be kind enough to let us know what your settings are for input?

Well, the way I'm able to drift and drive in the game is kind of weird. I use a DS3 for Shift 2 and a wheel for Gran Turismo. Since both are completely different, it's easier to learn that way.

For the settings, I noticed that the spring settings and dampers are pretty soft, just stiffen them up a bit and you should be fine. Use nitrous to hold longer drifts if necessary.

what about your advance inputs for the controller in options? do you have them at default or did you changed them?

That's all default too. I remapped some of the controls to my preference though.

Awesome, will test it out later. Hoping it works for me because i want to enjoy every part of this game..

So far its..

DFGT: racing
DS3:drifting( i hope )
DS3 again: when i'm too lazy to pull out the DFGT to race lol.

It was difficult for me to drift at first but after getting some practice in I got used to it and managed to do more consistent drifts then when I first started. Also using manual does help a lot in controlling drifts, as I find its a bit hard to keep the car stable with automatic using a DS3. Keeping the car at a high gear (usually 3rd or 4th and possibly 5th on certain cars) while drifting seems a lot easier, as the car will break traction quite easily regardless what gear your car is in.

As for setups, I haven't really played much with it but keeping the ride height low does help with balance I guess. Also maybe play around with the front/rear wing setup helps a lot too, and sometimes I find it a lot more easier to drift when I knock off my rear wing! :dopey:

Of course, the car I'm mostly drifting now is E36 M3. Stock body kit, with mostly full mods and a Level 2: High performance street tyres. :) But sometimes I do drift with my fully modded Supra and my 3 rotor FD3S RX7! :D

Thanks! I kept drifting with automatic and just when i ease on the throttle and turn, the car just ends up in a donut and spinning out. So keeping it in higher gear should help me out in having better control and linking corners?

You can never go wrong with a V10 powered Supra, haha.
I managed to get a score of 1230-ish in a Supra in one lap for London Millennium. Magic.

Yes, if does help a lot if your having a hard time controlling the throttle and drifting with a DS3. Just keep practicing and learn what gear would suit your car for the corners and I'm sure you will be drifting properly in no time! 👍

Well actually my Supra is still using the standard 2JZ. What I mean fully modded are all the parts, minus the tires and body kit. Also I didn't works convert my Supra yet. Although you should try driving a works converted V10 BMW E30 M3. I tell you, its freaking insane to drive... :ill:

WAS finally able to complete the first drifting event. So happy now. Though i was in automatic, I'm going to assume that with M/T you'll get a lot better control over the car. Settings i did use was AWD's settings for the DS3.
