Question.., is it possible that glitches within Shift-2 (after being downloaded to the PS3).., can affect the system?

One glitch present within the title is the video signal going out for second. I've had it happen countless times with Shift-2, and many others have reported it too.

Well I went to play GT-5 today.., and suddenly the same thing that happened with the loss of video signal that occurred in Shift-2 happened with GT-5 :grumpy: This has NEVER happened with any of my other PS3 titles. I talked to a few other people today reporting the same thing now happening to them.

Is is possible that these glitches within Shift-2 are having a negative impact on the PS3.?.?

^ It's highly unlikely. It is, however, possible in the sense of a statistical freak occurence - but still very, very improbable.

It's more likely that you've got a loose cable behind your screen, and that's what caused the problems for both games. It would then just be a coincidence that it happened to you the first time in Shift 2.

I seem to recall something about the first run of FF13 breaking consoles, but I don't know if it was ever collaborated. Sounds pretty out of it though, running code that somehow damages your console.

It's not a loose cable issue. I know I've read posts here by others that report the same thing with the video output dropping out briefly with Shift-2. I've spoken to several PS3 owners on YouTube with the same problem as well.

It's highly unlikely that suddenly a number of PS3 owners got loose HDMI cables after purchasing Shift-2 :sly:
