Shift 2 Tire pressure Glitch (PC)

The other day i was messing around tunning the lotus you win (beginning of career), and upon lowering the tire pressure, i was able to get a much stronger/heavier Force feedback feeling through my G25. I thought it was the lowering of the tire pressure which was giving the tires more Grip.

Turns out it is a Glitch. I was tunning my 240sx (bit floaty and not very grippy) and put the tire pressure from 50psi to 42psi. The steering wheel got very heavy, and the handling characteristics of the car changed dramatically. It would now grip the road and take turns/turn-ins much faster and smoother. My inputs felt more precise.

So I went and changed the tire pressure back to 50psi (default), and the car felt EXACTLY the SAME. Heavy Force feedback and the car held the road Much better, and would not get the softer/floaty feeling i started out with :dunce:.

After leaving the tunning screen and then returning, the car starts off the same Light/floaty feeling. Once i changed the Tire pressure up OR down, the force feedback got tight and the car gripped the road.

I tried to save the settings as it was much more enjoyable driving with the heavy force-feedback and improved handling/grip, but once i leave the tunning section and go to a Quick session, it was back to the original light/floaty feeling. :guilty:

(edit)- You guys are correct, it wasn't the tire pressure changing the Force-feedback/Handling, it was the Pausing and resuming of the game.

I find that I have the same issue, however without changing the tyre pressure. It simply enough to pause the game then to continue playing, and it will change the strength of the force feedback and suddenly you have considerably more grip. This "pause glitch" also seems to repair my smashed windscreen a lot of the time.
