What happened?

A man walked into the terminal, pulled out a gun and killed 1, and injured at least 4.

A security gurad shot and killed him. Thats about all the info for now.

Yep - Israel's already calling it a terrorist attack. Perhaps.

Frankly, I think it's akin to the school shootings - opening fire in a crowded place for the hell of it.

An EL AL security guard took him down at the end.

I think it's been reported that the fellow who did the shooting was an Arab that had been in the US, but there's been no comment made as to whether it was a terrorist attack. I'd be pretty surprised if it was.

Israel calls it a terrorist attack (naturally). It was an Egyptian man, but as of yet, no one thinks he's got any ties to anti-Israel or anti-American Egyptian groups. I consider it (unless I get more info) a random act of violence.
