Short track tunes....Building a short track beast

Hello community,

I am trying to build a short track car. Technical tracks with alot of turns but also with a few straights. I want a short track beast. Tight handling, good breaking and outstanding acceleration. I prefer rwd cars usually between 400 - 500 HP.

I am mainly. Concerned with suspension set up and transmission settings. I know each track and car will vary depending on the situation. I am looking for tips for good starting points. General set-ups to work on and good easy to follow principles.

All positive input is appreciated.......

Depending on what pp level and what short track you want to run this tune works great at Deep Forest, and well at many others HERE

Deep Forest isn't a short track. It's pretty fast. Most tunes for that track need to be dialed in for high speed stability for the back section of the track. The only tight section is entering the first tunnel.

Tsukuba, Autumn Mini, Eiger Short Track, etc, are short tracks. You can get away with a looser suspension that can be thrown into the tight turns.

Eiger short track - Any BMW M Class car. They are monsters on that track. Best thing to remember is that you don't need something with high speed, rather you want good acceleration. Using an M3 I can lap Eiger with traffic in about a minute. You never want to go over 150 mph.

You're right. At 2 and a quarter miles I guess it is not a "short track". Sorry:nervous:

Still the tune might work....just throwing it out there. :dopey:

If you want a short technical track then try the MT ASO track in the 4WD seasonal.
