I was up late last night watching the GP when they went to an ad break with 28 laps to go, then when they came back from the break the race only had 11 laps to go.

Did anyone else get a shortened GP telecast?

I'm going to ring up Channel 9 (Aussie TV channel) and ask them to at least replay the GP at a later date, or if not, send me a video of the whole GP.

It's Channel 10 covering the race - but you obviously knew that, or you wouldn't have seen the race!

It was quite late here, and I must admit I didn't notice - I'll have to check my tape, but I'm pretty sure there weren't any big jumps in Sydney - the telecast started about 25 mins after the start of the race and finished around 25 minutes after the end of the race.

They may have been fiddling around with it over there, though.

As Giles. We in Denmark got the whole thing. And after another channel bought the rights we get the training, friday qual, saturday qual and the whole race. Last year we only got the race :D GO CABLE !

Live broadcast here in Holland too. And pretty good coverage too, i must say.
One commentator and two pitreporters with all the latest news from the pits and dnf drivers, and exclusive interviews with Verstappen 10 minutes before the start.

Plus coverage of Friday & saturday training and qualifing :) Saturday's live, Fridays after a GP a look back on the previuos GP
Plus people in the Studio that know what they're talking about.

RTL5 has got it wel together. :D

I watched a re-run of the Brazilian Grand Prix two weeks ago on Canvas.

They had absolutly no idea what they were talking about and what was going on on the track and in the pits.

D'oh! Of course it was Channel 10. :dunce:

Sorry, I was "ticked" off with them and conveniently forgot which channel it was telecast on. ;)

Heh - force of habit, I suspect.

...aint that the truth
9 would be lucky to get the time of day right let alone coverage of a GP
10, i feel, are doing a much better job of broadcasting the series than 9 could ever hope to do
