Is it right for athletes to pose in the nude to raise money for their sporting code in ther country ala the Dutch womens track and field athletes?

I see no wrong with using nudity to market or raise money for the team or the sport. Sports have become big business and those business' need to generate money somehow to remain competitive.
It's a smart move actually. It's been a well konwn fact that sex sells and they used that fact to their advantage.
Nudity or not, it was a smart business move. Low brow and appealing to the lowest common denominator? Maybe, but effective none the less.
The team needs to raise money, so they did in a way they knew would work. Good on them.

But then by saying it is ok for athletes to do it, is all porn ok? Would it be hypocritical to say porn is bad and athletes are ok?

I think that there is a degree of difference between "porn" and simple nudity.
The Dutch team having an orgy in the middle of the track and field or them doing some simple and tasteful nude photos would make it hard to say that your standpoint would be hypocritical.

Yea, they did this funny thing with the pole vault Obviously it was a tasteful poster/calendar, and I see your point, however if your sister was doing it, would you feel any different if it was porn or a tasteful calendar?
I would have a much easier time seeing my sister doing a tasteful nude photo than some sort of hard core porn. However, if it was her decision to do either, then I have to accept that it was her choice to do so.
I think that is one thing that needs to be take into consideration is that these people chose to do this and they were not forced to.

That applies to pornstars too.
Well, as they are doing it for their sport I suppose it is more acceptable, and I guess the wishes of pornstars need to be respected too.

You're on potentially dodgy ground there boom. What if one member of the team did not wish to do it, but eventually did anyway? I would argue that there is a significant element of coercion in that instance.
Personally, I think that because athletes have such fine toned physiques, their bodies tend to be fantastic to look at, no matter what the boat is like. And it serves as an example to all those who would wish to be thin, because athletes are fat-free due to toning and exercise, not starvation.

Yes. There is no reason that they shouldn't be allowed to pose nude if they so choose. I encourage it.
