Should GT6 have a gym, barber shop, nail salon and plastic surgeon?

Since we can already customize our drivers a little bit in GT5 with race suits and helmets, I figured it would be a great idea if we are able to customize our appearance in GT6 a lot more in detail!

Wouldn't it be cool if we could change our body by working out in the gym (or the opposite: eat a lot of meat from the BBQ at the Nordschleife )or go to the barber shop to change our hair style and/or color?

It would also be cool if we could have a choice of gender for all the female drivers out there (or the guys that like to pose as females) and perhaps a nail salon, where you could style your nails, e.g. add a GTP or Nordschleife logo on your nails, like a livery editor for your nails! And make up of course. 👍

And last but not least: plastic surgery to modify your faces appearance, e.g. by scanning a passport picture of yourself (or somebody else) and turn it into a 3D representation of yourself.

But I guess I'll have to keep hoping.

Just rename the thread to "add your face to GT6?". There are many games where you can have your own face in the game. Actually it was possible in GTA3 with not much work. Also EA Sports has a few games where it works. As early as NHL 2000 it was possible. I like that idea a lot! I can't understand why it's not implemented in all new games

This can only be seen as another pointless discussion about implementing superfluous features for a game with GTs structure.

You wear a helmet so your surgically enhanced appearance will be hidden. TDU2 has a significant focus on the social aspect, you can attend parties and visit casinos, whereas GT is racing and just racing. I would like a podium sequence in GT6 but would be content with choosing from a selection of PD designed avatars.

PD would be better off allocating resources to a pitlane speed limiter function as it adds to the race experience which is what it should be all about.

There are too many of these silly ideas recently. People are losing sight of what GT6 should be - A racing game.

It's not as bad as it sounds. Why else would PD let our drivers pose next to the cars if not for a certain appeal it has? Replays?

And saying that GT is just a racing game isn't right. It's not as if it will never evolve into something different. I don't personally want this to be done as soon as possible, but maybe one day when the GT series's scope gets to a point we didn't think it ever could reach.

AND thinking Photo Mode will always be the same...what the hell? I thought about TDU too, but I doubt that was ever the point of GT. Going to parties? Saying GT is only about racing is one thing, thinking that it will ever be about having a lavish lifestyle is another.

Replay editor, free roam? Maybe not for GT6. But some time, maybe. Adding it to GT5 as some people seem to look at it isn't very open-minded. It clearly wouldn't be necessary in any of the past GT games.

Here's the thing: You can do those things in Skyrim, at least the adjusting your appearance part. And it's insanely detailed. I borrowed it from a friend not knowing what I was getting into, and when I got to the part where I had to customize my guy, I remember thinking "Whoa. Eye height? Jaw height?" So it's not as outlandish as it sounds.
