Should there be seperate lobby's?

Hello! Does anyone think there should be seperate lobby's for people using a DS4 compared to a wheel? I use a DS4 and Everytime I get into a race it's obvious who is using wheels, because they are always 4-5sec faster than everyone. I think there should be seperate rooms or an option to go against just players with a DS4 or a wheel, because DS4 users stand no chance of winning. Thoughts?

Nope. Plenty of the fastest guys on GT6 time trials use a DS3.

This game seems different though, cars do not turn as smoothly as they do in GT6

I definitely think it should be an option for anyone setting up their own lobbies. The more setup options the better.

Nope. You're as good as you are with whatever control method you have available, and you'll be matched with other players appropriately.

If the question is should you be able to filter user-created rooms by control type, then sure. But as far as the Sport mode, nope. It's plenty possible to be fast with a DS4, and a wheel is not a magical thing that makes you faster. Most people will tell you that when you transition if anything it makes you slower for a little as you get used to the new control method and it's quirks. Wheel users are just as capable of being crap and slow as everyone else.

I'd bet 50% of your gap behind the leaders is driver aids. Turn everything off, switch to manual transmission, do 20-30 laps learning the track and figuring out your braking and accel points and you will find there isn't that much of a difference. I'm using DS3 for the beta and i can get within 3-4 second of the world-best times without any tuning. But if i jump into a new car and forget to turn off the TCS or something i can tell a huge difference in how the car drives and it's very slow.

But yes, i think there should be an option to separate the two for lobbies/leagues/etc.

I'm actually quicker with the controller but much more consistent with a wheel. GT has always been the best racing game for using a controller for me at least.

I beg to differ. I'm sure @Spud_Skills @Ed_Night or @Doodle might have something to say about it as well. You just need to smooth.

Judging by the beta, that's often not the case.
