This has been bobbling in my head for awhile.(Sorry if theres a thread on this)

When I first got my PS3, I started playing GT5P(Spec I), after I had unlocked the PP system, I had a look at some online races and down to the time trials and the time trial was: 650PP High Speed Ring NSX-R.

I thought this was really cool, you could tune your cars to get a certain time etc.

Now when I got Spec II download, this event was gone.... and I was :grumpy:

So, my question is..... should PD bring back PP time trials again?

No, some people (like me) are not into tuning.

And if there is no tuning then it is a fair playing field for everyone.

To get a good time you must be genuinely fast, not just have a better tune than other people

I think there should be pp time trials and normal time trials. I voted yes because the more variety the better.👍 I definetely like a level playing field better because I am terrible at tuning.

i agree, the more variety the better, i also am not good at tuning but i can only get better by trying

Well, I see tuning time trials a way to practice racing and at the same time trying to find a good setup, so I think they're good cause at the same time you are learning to drive and tune.

time attack... time trials..

all the real life TT are allowed to tune, why have the ability to tune and not be able to use it in time trials ?

if they must, make a tuned and non-tuned section, but running a time trial on a stock car, tuning it, then running that same track in another time trial lets you know how your tuning went, you then know if what you did tune on your car made it feel better or worse, and which got you the better time, theres unlimited room for improvement when it comes to tuning and time trials are one of the best ways to figure out if you are doing anything with your tuning

I also see tuning TT's as an opportunity for garages to verse each other to see who can make a better tune.

I can say yes to that. Tuning may be bad, but it's fun to test ur car at & figure out what times you get with what tune. It's good to experiment in my opinion, but I don't mind stock.
