It's that time of the year again and festive cheer is all around. It's time to crawl into the attic and pull out the dusty boxes with 'XMAS DECORATIONS' written on in wonky black marker and spice up your living rooms.

Are you creative with yours? Do you have certain lay-outs? Have you got a house decorated in lights using about as much electricity as Vegas? Show off your Christmas decorations here!

I'll start with some Monster inspired tinsel creativeness... (WARNING: Hipstergram photo...)

I'll post more of my festive decorations soon!

I won't be able to post mine until next week because my flat has none but my family house is OTT with decs. :)

The furthest my Christmas decorations have got is a 10" ceramic tree that is supposed to light up and a blow up Santa in the front yard - that deflated and blew over from the neighbors yard. :)

Pfft, you'll never beat my flash decorations. I did it all myself.

So in other words, my mum didn't want to use the old decorations because we've had them for 20 years, and they look old and crappy... And she was taking too long to decide on new ones (there were always problems with the ones she saw in the shops, they didn't match the wall, or didn't look good with the tree, or she didn't like gold, etc). So I decided to take the job on myself and avoid using the old ugly decorations...

Terrible camera flash which makes shots look disgusting time!

The hat on the top doubles as self advertising for my dad's company!

My entire family approved... Well except for my mum who made me take them down 5 days later. :grumpy: She bought decorations just to make me take them down... Not to mention the new decorations are glass and she smashed two of them in the first 20 minutes.

In the tree you could also have found my hairbrush, my pencil case, some Transformers (toys), a muesli bar, but mostly dog toys. The bottom of the tree didn't have many decorations because the dogs keep on pulling them down.

I realy tryed my best but some reason my gf was bit unhappy:dunce:
Maybe I missed lights or something ?

Looking pretty good Stevo!!!

I agree. Now I'm seriously going to take you up on that invite, axle. I'll stay away from the mistletoe.
If this is how monkeys live . . . damn. Homo sapiens sapiens . . . you are such a slow and dull-witted race. :dopey:

JK83 - once seen, never unseen. She's going to give you the boot if you continue this way. :sly:

Skython - you got a spinning wheel for Christmas?

My dad did literally all of the work. It was all done by the time I got home from NY.

And my mom worked on this:

Looks much better in person.

These are the pictures I remembered to take, got a few more but they're all quite similar.
