Nice 300ZX. My parents used to own one just like that in burgandy, but I came along. Now we have a 1996 NA with a massive wing on the back from a Supra. I'll take some pictures later.

That's a beautiful picture and car I thought the background was amazing! Nice car and great photo :D

I figure this is the best place to ask, though possibly biased responses...

I'm getting a new car in December, and I looked up the 350Z today as a possible choice. I ruled out the 370Z based on being more expensive, but I think I prefer the looks. Does anyone with a 350Z want to share their personal experience of owning the car? Rather than just how it drives (which seems to be a resounding 👍) how reliable it was / has been, running costs and personal feel in it (comfortable even on long journeys?). This information is usually missing from the online reviews! Cheers in advance.

There are known issues with the MT transmissions (4 redesigns so far I believe), and depending on the year, you should watch out for the oil consumption issue they had with the 2005/2006 rev up engines (VQ35HR I believe)...under warranty you get a new engine, out of warranty you get a blown up engine and a $12,000 repair bill.

You can check out more at my350z.com, which is a great forum to research issues posted by other members.
