I went to a clothing store and I bought a few things that were too big and were on clearance. I just want to know if anyone has any good tips for shrinking clothe's. Thanks in advance.

The pants... roll 'em or hem them up and wear a belt.
Shirts- I thought baggy was the style these days... unless they're for a proper event.

Sit in the bath with them on for a few hours. They should reduce in size a bit. Alternatively you could got to a launderette/ clothes repair shop and ask them to make it a bit smaller, you may not have that option locally though.

Wash and dry on high heat. But it's not going to turn out like you want.

This.

You'll end up with a wide shirt thats only 12" long and will show your belly button. I know because my GF is notorious for shrinking my work shirts.

You bought the wrong size then mate.

Well it was on clearance for $4.99

It's a nice sport jacket.

Kind of like this.

Except it has a smooth feel to it

Since it's a sport jacket you are basically out of luck as the materials those are made of won't shrink much if at all.

At least it was only $5.

Wear it unzipped with some wide-er cut jeans. The arms will look a bit stupid, but as long as it is unzipped, the front should look decently normal.

Are you friends with Rick Moranis?

Hm, roll the sleeves up and expose your forearms like a boss?

Alternatively, just eat big and work out like a beast. That'll increase your chest size and gets you fitting into it good.

3XL? American size? That's massive.
