Powertrain: 1500cc , Inline-4 , Twin carburetors , 75 hp , 5-speed manual

Information:
In 1950, after years of using Fiat parts in a large amount Siata officially settled together with Fiat to put Diana in production. It was an arrangement that suited both parties very well, because Fiat itself did not want to produce cars that would be sold in small quantities and Siata could be helped to develop the new car.
Fiat 1400-components was used by Siata for Diana, which was available in both closed coupé or as a open roadster. If not the 1.4-liter engine with 65 hp was strong enough the company also offered a 1.5-liter engine with 75 hp instead as an option to the 5-speed manual transmission that all models had as standard.
The suggested car with the chassis number SL.0201.S was fitted with the 1.5-liter engine and has a body build by the coachbuilder Boano in Grugliasco, Italy, founded by Mario Boano and his son Gian Paolo Boano in 1954. This Daina SL Sport Berlinetta is the only know example with a body in this shape.
