"Sunday August 6th, Wade Michael Page opened fire on worshipers at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin, killing six (The six dead ranged in age from 39 to 84 years old), carrying a 9-mm handgun and multiple magazines of ammunition."

"A day after the massacre, during which Page was fatally shot by police, the gunman's life emerged in public records and interviews. The bald, heavily tattooed bassist was a 40-year-old army veteran who trained in psychological warfare. He was demoted and discharged more than a decade ago."

Sad day indeed, his motive, still a mystery. May all deceased rest in peace.

.......

Gotta watch out for those bald bassists.

I'm not sure if it's down to the increasing amount of media and communication available nowadays but it seems like this kinda stuff is happening more often.

My thoughts and prayers to the families of the victims of this attack.

I am reminded of reprisals immediately after 9/11 against sikhs by ignorant savages calling themselves Americans.

seriously, why can't some people distinguish Terrorists from Sikhs? Sikhs are naturally peaceful people (heritage FTW) and convey no harm whatsoever. It is very alarming about the rate of crime nowadays. just a few weeks ago the shooting in Colorado, now a shooting at a place of worship...

Just why? :indiff:

I conceal carry, as do most Texans; I am not concerned about the crime rate lol.
But, it does tend to go up with unemployment.

Because sikhs and "terrorists" both wear headgear and have a skin tone darker than whites (i.e. "real people") and lighter than blacks (i.e. easily identifiable "other people.") Therefore they must be the same.

(Please note that the terms I used are to illustrate the ignorant thinking and are absolutely NOT my own views!!!)

Going by the story about his past, his pictures, I got the impression that he was a ignorant dummy, who loved attention whoring.

From what we know so far, it seems to be a completely senseless crime. My thoughts are with the victims, their families & the community. Much props to the hero cop who survived getting shot nearly ten times. On the radio, they were reporting that this downed officer was telling other officers to go help the people inside. Remarkable stuff. 👍
