Silver Chrome paint. (how is it awarded?)

Title pretty much says it all. I had it and used it. Now I want more. It doesn't come on a car.


Important info: When you transfer a Silver Chrome car to another account the new owner will get a paint chip of the original car color. This nullifies the "paint chip exploit" which is what I was trying to do in the first place.. now I have a chrome Dihatsu Copen (seriously! ). Guess I'll have to re-earn it on my 2nd account.

I think i got it for having around 80 cars in my garage. It was definitely a car in garage award.

I recived mine when I bought a car from used car dealership, but this could have been a coincedence and its the amount of cars you own.

You get awarded a horn for every ten cars you add to your garage and after you reach certain numbers you also get a random paint colour.

Are you sure it is random? If so, my friend and I both got the matte pink paint chip at the exact same time for having I think 150 cars in our garages..

I am not sure but I think I saw people getting different colours before and I have only received matte paints so far, as far as I can remember and I certainly haven't got any silver chrome paint and I have over 130 cars.

I got silver chrome after about 10 cars owned. I thought it was because i won a race and it came with the car but it might have been because that triggered the 10 car award.

I got the matte pink paint when i had 40cars i think.
But ive never had a chrome or matte black yet and i got 84 cars in my garage.
So yes, its random
