So I've bought myself an Oculus Quest 2, running with my rig I know that it's effectively entry level VR, but the last week has been an interesting mix of fun, frustration and expermentation.

TL:DW
  • Sony got ease of use right with the PSVR
  • Some title need a lot of faffing about to get even a half way decent experience
  • Some title are surprisingly well optimized out of the box
  • How on earth is Project Cars 3 so bad in VR when both AMS2 and PC2 are great?
  • Raceroom isn't just underappreciated as a sim, but as a VR ready title.

Thanks for the video.

I am very close to buy a hefty PC for VR.

I am for Ryzen 9 5900XT with RTX3080 :-)

From what I understand ACC is also one of the most hardware hungry games for VR. Even with the RTX3080 is not like it runs silky smooth ( from my understanding)

But I saw someone mention a VR file mod wich is suposed to improve things a bit.

Maybe If you want you could try and test it out
