_3000GT
Hi drift fans...
After spending hours for settings (drift settings) on GT4. me and my friend was really tired. The first car we try to buy was Taniguchi's S15 (HKS/Genki Silvia). Then we set ATM and TCS to 0. And set the suspension's. But even then it wasnt that easy to drift. After you try to counterstear the car comes back like a flash... So we need to practice more... If someone can tell me good drift settings on GT4 (maybe for the Taniguchi car). Would be cool... 👍
P.S: Sorry i know my english sucks...
First off, your english doesn't suck. 👍 and reading about how your car comes back
in a flash makes me wonder about a few things.
1) you are using sim tires right? I know that many ppl used all sorts of different tires
in GT3, but if you're having problems with the counter steer being too strong you'll
obviously have to use sim tires or super slick.
2) what kind of drifts are you trying? I'm wondering if maybe certain types of drift
are more difficult with the extra sensative controls in GT4 (or at least the controls look that
way from the vids and descriptions I've heard). Mix it up a bit and see if feints and
weight transfers work better if you're trying e-brake drifts and vica versa.
3)Are you using the d-pad or the joysticks (I'm guessing that learning to drift on the dfp
will take a bit to learn on) and what did you use in GT3. I've been using the joysticks
for steering and gas/brake (<-gas/->brake on the right joystick) for a while so I can
give pretty delicate input with them, but if you're used to the d-pad then you might
have to switch to the joysticks.
One off topic question for anyone who's used play-asia: after you first setup an account
could you immediately log back into it or did it take a bit of time for it to process that
your e-mail/password were in their system. After ordering from them I can't log back
in, but I'm wondering if that's just because I did it on a non-business day (yesterday).
I'll just contact them if it still doesn't work tomorrow since it'll be monday there, but it'd
be a relief to hear that I'm not the only person this has happened for.
