Hello all, I’m new to sim racing and I’m on the hunt to find a cockpit. I’ve narrowed my search based on price and quality as I would like to eventually get a Fanatec DD setup going. I had my mind made up on the Simetik K2-R cockpit for $700 cdn. But now I’ve come across the aluminum build GTOMEGA Prime. $740 … From what I’ve been reading online is that aluminum is the way to go. However all of the reviews show the Simetik K2-R to be sturdy enough for direct drive and the pedal plate construction looks better to me than the GTOMEGA. Does anyone have views or thoughts on which way I should go… the Simetik does look cooler to me as well. Thanks for reading… cheers.
