There's a ton of modded tracks out there but I'm looking to separate the wheat from the chaff. Please tell me the tracks you've had the best experience on but with these conditions:

-no bugs at all
-you did a pit stop

Pretty tracks are OK, but tracks with character (not dead flat with no bumps unless the real track is like that) are better. I'm a little lost in finding tracks because there are so many and some apparently don't have working pit lanes. So please relay to us your experience with good tracks.

I've been racing in a Donnington mod I downloaded from RD. Quite good. Can't tell about pitstops.
Been driving the BTCC Primera there. What a blast.

Laguna Seca 2.2 has a very accurate layout. I race their with SCCA in RL. It could be a bit prettier but it has the unique details in the surface that only racers would really notice. It's second only to iRacing's version but not by much at all.

Snoopy's Nurburgring is "OK" if you have never run it in real life. It exaggerates the elevations a lot to feel more like the real track (more like a roller coaster) that traditionally doesn't translate to games so well. So thought it's not very accurate, the creative "freedom" the builder used took a lot of creative thinking and does make it a lot of fun... A good segway until AC releases their laser scanned version but it will feel a lot more flat.

Been trying a few tracks lately: I know you said "pit stop" as a requirement, but even if I did not do that then I feel these deserve mentioning. :)

- Donington: Close to Kunos quality! Maybe a bit too smooth and flat, but I have no idea what the IRL track is like. But overall veeeeery nice track, and the author is going out of his way to replicate the real track, so he deserves all the praise het can get.
- Blackwood: Close to Kunos quality! One of my absolute favorites. Absolutely gorgeous graphics wise and a blast to drive. But the AI seemed to have a few issues. In a race with 10 cars they got stuck and behaved like turtles. :) But still, wonderful track for hotlapping.
- Hungaroring: What this track lacks in graphics quality (which is a step down from the two above but still more than "good enough") it makes up for in pure fun. There are also some bumps here and there, particularly in certain turns. Again, I have no idea what the IRL track is like, but this one is seriously fun to drive. :)

As the game is released and Kunos can spend more time supporting the modding tools and community this is only going to get better. Because of all the work these modders put in we will likely end up with a bunch of extra free tracks that – while not laser scanned – will probably be of such a quality that in practise there will be little difference. Gotta love PC-gaming.

i find donington quite boring to drive, the full layout isnt that great, the road texture is ugly and there hardly any road feel also.

glava zete is really great, graphics and road feel, its point to point though.

can also recommend Golf course.

Baskerville has 20 pits and lots of elevation change. It is short though.

Gen track 1 is a great track with lots of pits if you don't mind made up tracks.

Snoopy's Nordschleife, Lake Louise and Pikes Peak.

I like long tracks with many difficult and technical turns, so if you're into this stuff, thrn check these tracks out. The Nordschleife and Lake Louise can be found on Racedepartment, for Pikes Peak, you simply gotta ask Google. However, be aware, Pikes Peak is still a VERY early beta
