Simpsons First Season DVD!! Awesome!

I just picked this up at Best Buy for 30 bucks. 3 DVDs with the full first 13-episode season, plus a ton of extras like the Tracy Ullm,an short which first showed the Simpsons.

I suggest that you get this if you even remotely like the Simpsons.

PS. On the inside of the package Groening states that there will be many more (expensive) Simpson sets.

400 bucks would be well worth it to have the first 13 seasons on DVD if the price stays at 30 bucks.

Yeah- got it for Xmas, very impressed.

Highlight for me was the actual quality of the prints - just shows how old the tapes the TV stations are using.

Think of it as 10 dollars per DVD, you can't beat that deal.
Btw, I have it and it is cool. In the Commentary, Groening makes fun of the early art ruthlessly.

Its 30 bucks for 13 episodes that are from 22-24 minutes each, its a great deal.

Only 13 episodes a season for all seasons? No way! Most shows (I know all sit-coms) have 23-episode/year commitments to networks. Perhaps Simpsons is different 'cos it's a cartoon?
