I am using an emotive 5 channel amp only using 4 channels
channel 1 front left
channel 2 front right
channel 3 right rear
channel 4 left rear
I have an onboard sound card on my asus p8z77v lx with 3 outputs, micrphone , green for my fronts and blue that I am using for the rear
I also have a creative labs soundblaster Z for my speaker sounds

when I click to test the front buttkickers they are recognized and vibrate in test mode.

when I try to test the rears the corresponding front vibrates but not the rear

when I switch my rear cable from blue to the green jack I have the opposite effect

I am sure this has something to do with the soundcard setup but at a bit of a loss as this is not in my comfort zone
it seems as if the blue jack is not being recognized?

solved, had to change my onboard soundcard to 4 channel from 2, this made the blue input jack enabled for my rear buttkickers

I do have a secondary issue though, now that simvibe uses my realtech onboard card how do I enable my soundblaster card t play my ingame sounds and sounds for other programs?

after some trial and error discovered that I had to set my soundblaster as default and enable my realteck onboard (and uncheck it as a default)
I then had to relaunch simcommander and set it to realtec speakers, reboot and let it reconfigure and it seems to be working properly now
