Somewhere.
There's still very little information on this car, but it's begun testing, and will be officially unveiled in Geneva, during the AutoShow. It could even run by New Zealand, near the end of the season.

They'll get rid of the worst facet of the Octavia, the size. Could it be an overall contender, however?

Here's the only shot i found, thanks to wrc.com, and it's heavily disguised.

That picture was in this week's Autosport magazine. I'm beginning to wonder if Skoda really have the budget to ever be contending for wins.

I'm trying to remember where i read this, but Skoda was going to be the sole beneficiary of the VAG motorsport ressources, aside Audi. Sounds a bit strange, but budget and development wouldn't be an issue anymore, if that was the truth. Or at least, it wouldn't be as bad as it is right now.

I think Audi have gone upmarket, thus ditching their rally efforts in favor of wins at Le mans.

So we have a fabia, a colt and maybe a fiesta in the WRC so maybe smaller is better. Well it worked for the 205, renault 5 and the metro 6r4 I suppose.

Too bad they litterally copied the rear wing of the 206. And I think they will need an other front wing, because this one will not produce much downforce.

But anyway, nice car.

BTW the production version, the Fabia RS, will have a 130 bhp DIESEL engine. :odd: I mean, for a sports version?

It's still a prototype, so things aren't at the final evolution... I doubt they can go to the front that easily, but if it's faster than the Octavia, it's already better!
