Does anyone have a tune for this car that greatly eliminates the dreaded dead spot in it's steering? Or is that just an inherent flaw in this car? It's a really nice car and is a joy to drive if you can work around that flaw.

I have a 550pp tune for one on R3 rubber but for the Infiniti G35. I think they are the same car. I was tuning this for online random lobbies, that is why its on R3 tires. But I haven't driven it in a while, but I do remember having undesteer issues.

Online or offline use?
I'd be happy to see what I can do with it, just need to know which set of physics first.

G35 and 350GT sedan are farrrrrrr different. I've not actually tried the 350GT myself but I've got doubts as to whether it's possible to remedy.

How bad of a dead spot is it? And is it actually a deadspot or just the car not responding? (use replay to compare to another car or something)

I thought the G35 was the domestic version of the 350GT? Here where I live its not uncommon to see G35's stripped of their badging and replaced with Skyline ones.

Yes and no. There are differences and they are likely the cause of this issue.

Also worth noting the 350GT has an 8-speed transmission if I'm not mistaken.

It's pretty bad. You can go down a straight and move the steering back and forth in either direction pretty far before the car actually starts to turn. Might be a bug or the car was programed like that at PD. Not sure why, haven't noticed a dead spot this big in any other cars. Maybe I should buy one of the G35 Sedans in the UCD and see if it does the same thing...

Edit: Actually, the 350GT has a 5-Speed. 👎

I see, now I am going to buy a 350GT, just to see the differences between the two.

The G35 is available as a premium.

Before I check it, I'm thinking toe angle, for anyone going to go test.

But it does sound like a bug. :(

It doesn't look good, I'm not familiar with these cars IRL, so I don't know if there's a cause or not, but it doesn't seem fixable.
It improved a bit with some front + toe, rear - toe, but there's no feedback at all in the dead zone. It seems to be really slow steering overall, I'm having to turn the wheel abnormally far to corner fast at all... Either a bug or a weird car.

It is a very nice drive apart from this though.

Thanks for trying. I'll give this a shot when I get home. Such a shame that a good car is ruined because of this problem. Wonder if we should bring it to PD's attention?
