Skyline R32 Tune for Special Event

So I decided to take the R32 Skyline into the 497HP event and am having a really tough time getting anything higher than 8th place. Does anyone have a decent tune they're using that's giving them more success?

8th place for me too but to be fair i've only had 2 attempts with a car i haven't finished tuning yet so i will improve. When i finish setting up the R32 correctly i'll post my tune settings for you.

I personally have my doubts as to whether the R32-4 are even capable of winning it without an insanely quick driver. I tried it with an R33 and wasn't gaining anywhere near quickly enough to win it. The R35 is so far superior in terms of overall grip that it's not at all funny. Makes me sad.

I had tried with an R33 GT-R, with basic guesstimate tuning after an initial test run and could only manage 2nd place, you'll have to use the R35 to do it, there's basically no other option for mortals.

Couldn't win though; only 2nd Place.

Yeah not possible with the R32 even with a superior power/weight vs the R35

Use the gtr vspec 09 choose a couple of minor hp upgrades, then buy what ever else takes your fancy

drop the ride height then the max speed to just over 170 you will be able to win with this set up.

I had all aids off TCS1 and ABS4

as for the R32 i can only get 3rd so far

R34 can do it - I did it with one. With no downforce even. But the R32, probably not unless the car is damn near perfectly set up and the driver really knows what to do, and the R33 is so-so. Anyone is free to try the MFT suspension setup but I can't guarantee any kind of success.

That said, I've updated my R33 a bit and will be giving it another shot. I managed 3rd with rather poor driving and about 60hp down on the cap so I should be able to improve on that.

I was going to try an R32 that I won with MadFinn's tune and see how I made out. Did anyone try his tune for this race? It is in the Tuning section under his list. You have to scroll down a few posts.

I won it with this tune in the 3. try, you have to get used to the car and the track of course, but i got the ford right before the last corner and was like 0.500 ahead in the end.
