Why is there a shaft option in the menus section, that you can’t buy? Plus, why are the cars tuned to be restricted?👀 I pushed a veyRon to 274 mph, in 6th gear, with my C6 ZR1. It will not change gears on it’s own. Plus, they need to adjust the lighting in the tunnels. 💯 Please change the mechanics back to gt 5levels.. You spend 200 grand in mods, for your vette to top out under 270mph?!?

Everything you see in the car settings page is what can be applied to the car, but not everything can be purchased. The shaft part you can win in the tickets, same with other parts like engines or the Ultra-High RPM turbocharger.

Oh, ok. They still have a long way to go though. Thanks 👍

Well,I thought it was a seven speed like the C7 🤕 but they still need to raise the limits
Again, I don't really know what you're talking about here.

Assuming "it" means the Veyron... it is a seven-ratio box. The Veyron was famously the first car in the world to use the seven-speed variant of the DSG (made by Ricardo). But how this relates to "it will not change gears on its own" I don't know.

As for "raise the limits"... what limits are you talking about?

It really would be easier if you could show what you think the problem is.

Anybody else have problems with the amuse s2000? Mine won’t turn at all. Hits the wall, literally 👀 I mean, like no steering input at all kinda hits the wall..

I see that now.. but, it’s still a glitch. You shouldn’t be able to put a larger sized rim on the car at all

I was talking about the C6 and C7 corvettes having different transmission. And raising the limits was regarding the tuning allowed for the game dynamics it’s self. Now, I’m no tuning guy, but I had most of my top end cars above 300 mph in gt5. Be it draft, or pure powerband.

It has nothing to do with the wheel size; the overall diameter does not change. It's because you lowered the car too much. Raise it 5 or 10 mm at a time, and eventually you'll find the sweet spot between "low" and "too low."

Why do you need any cars to go 300+? This is something that in real life Is basically impossible with most cars due to aero and gearing, why do think it should be possible here? Because you're basing it on a much older title that is much farther away from reality than 7 is?

300mph cars are basically useless unless you're grinding out missions at Route X, but that's about the least fun you can have in this game.

You’re missing the point. Being ‘able’ to fully tune a car out, is what got gt where it is now

Strange thread.
By adjusting the final drive ratio and gear ratios on a fully customizable transmission, you can theoretically hit any target speed you wish. Whether the car will get you there, is a whole different question.
It seems to me that you are not very familiar with the tuning menu, so instead of complaining about what you think is wrong with the game, how about you tell us what you want to achieve and ask for help?

But both cars do have different transmissions!!!
The C6 has a 6 speed gearbox, the C7 a 7 speed gearbox.
Also the engines, being based on the long standing small block GM V8 and having the same displacement, bore and stroke, have different injection systems, superchargers and intercoolers, so even tuned, isn't supposed the C6 have the same performance.
