SLR ( 19" Wheel Version ) Bhp

Afternoon folks. I have a fully modded SLR with 881 Bhp that I have been tweaking now for about a week, which with the help of the fully customizable transmission and down-force settings, can atain a top speed of 244 Mph.

I think this is the limit for this sublime car, but after a few online races yesterday evening, a fellow racer informed me that it is possible to get the 19" Wheel Version to top out at 270 Mph.

My question is this. Is it possible to get more Bhp out of this car? And if so how can it be done?

As to be honest I cannot for the life of me see how. ( I think it was just a random disgruntled Veyron driver who was sick of being constantly beaten by a slower car )

If anyone else has a fully modded SLR, I would be gratefull if you could state what Bhp, Weight and Torque your car has.

Thanks.

Sort of related I guess. There's been plenty of people with the identical car as me, yet despite both cars having all upgrades (Oil change included) I still have less BHP than them. :grumpy:

I'm beginning to think that there is a order of equipping upgrades to get a higher BHP. Hopefully you have got the max amount of BHP, but there might be someone else with more! :scared:

There is also a break-in period for engines. Run a few races.

I have a 943 bhp SLR with all mods, I can't tell you the weight and torque since I'm not home right now sorry

I cannot believe I never noticed that before. As I ran a few races last night and the Bhp went from 881 to 903.

Can you confirm if 943 is the Bhp cap, or can it go higher. I'm going to run a serious lot of practice laps later just to see.

Mileage amount for a engine to break in? Or is it dependent on the car? T

Thanks a million though. It's been bugging me for oh so long :ouch:

Well in real life engine break-in is usually 500 to 1000 miles.
In the game, it seems that I just have to run a few laps with it.

Do online miles count?

I'm not 100% sure. Had a race earlier with 8 laps, and my Bhp never rose over 903. Now whether this is just a milage thing I do not know.

943 is the cap, can't go any higher.

Thank you for that info. It looks like I have alot of laps to run offline to get it to that number. Cannot wait to try it when it gets that high, as I have a feeling that I will need to totally change suspension settings and aero settings due to the increase in horsepower. Should be fun :scared:

My SLR, after several oil changes and 11 victories, puts out 933bhp and tops out at 286mph. I would suggest changing the oil frequently (every 2 or 3 races). If the top speed doesn't increase, buy the weight reductions, aero kits, and lower the suspension.
