This game, is your fix for realism that Gran Turismo and Forza are Missing. You can buy rolling shells, and build your own engine. I will admit the Graphics aren't the best. However, the ability of customisation will suffice.

Features you may find interesting;

-Build your own engine
-Free Roam
-Track Events
-Build your vehicles body
-The Customizability...

Being a PC Game, there is a large community of dedicated SLRR Fans. Meaning Real Cars, Real Parts, Real Tracks. Here are some of my screenshots;

Here is a Video Build of a car.

So is it new? What are the physics like? You said it's more realistic than GT or Forza so that's setting the bar quite high already. Where can I buy it?

I've research a bit on the game and apparently if you want it to be fun, you gotta have mods, where are you getting yours ?

@neema_t: This is a rather old budget-bin title that was extremely buggy, and offered no real redeeming qualities except for a remarkable customization/garage interface. The physics aren't great, the graphics aren't great, and gameplay is lacking, but by modding it to death you can help clear up some of the bugs, and stick in real cars/tracks like JDMTuningJZX90 said.

It's a one-of-a-kind game, but it's far more fun to build cars than it is to drive them.

I see... Obviously I need to have this as I have almost every other game, sim and anything in-between featuring vehicles, but where am I supposed to get it? I'm guessing the answer to that question is not AUP-friendly though, so, yeah.

Remember back in the days, put a 7500+ hp V8 in a Mustang, and go 400 km/h on the back wheels, then hit the wall and shatter into a million pieces...

Good times. :lol:

This game with few mods is absolutely awesome, pretty much exactly what i've always wanted! :P

I can't believe I hadn't discovered this, thanks so much for the thread.

I tried this before but never got it to work. I'm retrying now. And can you put down the big mods and links? Like texture packs and Mod Packs?

When I try to extract files it says password needed. Anyone else got this problem? And if this is against AUP please tell me.

I forgot to post my experience of the game here... Basically I followed that link kindly provided by DG_Silva, installed the game and was thoroughly unimpressed. I think it's the vanilla game with a couple of usability mods but it's hard to tell, but in any case, the game crashes whenever I try to drive or, for some reason, jack the car up in the garage to get underneath.

So yeah, I never managed to get it to look like it does in the OP, which is a shame. Have I missed something?

Not really, That what you have to expect with Mods. Even in Reality, Modifying your car is a risk, and makes it's condition unstable. As for the wheels on the Golf it is Borbet Type A. You should get them with the link DG-Silva posted. Post up your SLRR Pics guys!

Got everything to work, and I found out the hard way don't go installing tons of mods or it'll grenade your game haha. Redownloaded and testing mods, 1 at a time.
