If you travel down to the first corner you can brake very late and grind against the wall to slow down without being "red flagged". This does decrease braking distance but your line may be a little messed up and it is hard to judge properly.

Just thought I'd point it out, I know none of you would set a best lap with it but may be worth investigating to see if it improves you sector 1.

Of course I don't endorse it.

(Oh sorry if it has been mentioned I couldn't see it in threads I had looked at)

Ive thought about this many times too... but its delibrate cheating and if you finished top 20 in your country i bet you'd be DQ'ed.

Exactly, that why I suggest binning your lap if it does improve your sector 1, otherwise you would be disqualified.

if 2 accelerate butons are presed at the same time the acceleration decreases.

set accelerate to R2 and pres it together, the X buton will be overridden by R2.

That's not a glitch. This happens in GT4 and GT5P using all analog controls that I know of, including the right analog stick and L2. For some reason the addition of a second control overrides the first for both accelerating and braking.

Well we all know the answer to that one don't we? Kinda' like saying it hurts when you put your hand in boiling water...

I found a sort of a cheat twice

some glitch caused the TT to slow down, the rear view mirror gets stuffed and the ghost dissapears. Since it feels like time has slowed in half, you can judge the turns better and have plenty fo time to steer and adjust your controls :)
