The Smashing Pumpkins have officially called it an end with the release of "Rotten Apples: The Smashing Pumpkins Greatest Hits". For $15 at Best Buy you can get the full two cd album (with parental advisory). There are 18 songs on the first CD and 16 on the second. If you're looking to get some Smashing Pumpkins in your music collection, this is the way to go. It has 17 of my favorite SP songs, 12 new releases, and a few more scattered in that aren't too bad either (: The CD jacket is decorated in classic SP photography, with a few new images to keep it original.

Please don't confuse this with the -other- version of this album which I did not purchase. It is a one CD album for $14. I thought I'd spring the extra buck and get 16 more songs (:

Might wanna consider "Green Days International Super Hits" as well. 21 tracks of nothing but songs that you know. Your voice will be gone by the time the CD is over. I think its about 15 bucks as well.

i got Smashing Pumpkins (2 disc) and International Superhits for christmas and they ahvent been out of my stereo since(thank god for 3 cd multichanger)
