SNAIL Division 5 - April 2016 Season

Hello my fellow SNAIL Pals! March is over. Time for a fresh season to start and time to move your discussion to this new "April" D5 thread. Lots of new faces and lots of open SNAIL Duties that need to be filled. Please let myself or @CoachMK21 know if you are interested in helping out with any or the duties listed below. We need backups for all the duties as well. If you have questions about any of the duties, please refer to FUD (Frequently Used Documents) first and as always @CoachMK21 and others in the division are more than happy to explain questions if anyone were to have one. If we all pitch in and help each other out, all this is real simple. These duties are just the start of what makes SNAIL what it is, the biggest and best online racing league out there! Good Luck to everyone in the April SEASON!!!


We need a Host, Data Specialist and Scorekeeper first. These spots are completely vacant! We need this to be filled before we race tonight @ 9:30pm ET.
Post on this new April thread if you can help out with that position this week and we can figure out more during the week to fill and have reinforcements for ALL duties.

As you all know I do the banners for racing on Sunday night but I'm always happy to post a few division picks from the nights racing, highlighting the nights winner etc.

I don't own a computer I just have a tablet so I'm not much good with that other stuff.

Hi Guys, sorry for double post but I just read that Rednose posted that the data for D6 is incomplete. Who was the data manager for the first race of March Season ? Unfortunately I was not racing that night and also do not have any replay...Could you pls PN Rednose and fulfill the data, thx

Huhuuu guys, what an awesome season start, I don't know how you felt it, I was astonished about all that action, 👍 , great action all around the night, a BIG SHOUT OUT for the guys taking over duties to allow D5 race @chevy_usa1101 , @Drewspeed , @basswerks1 , hat off guys
We made it happen all together, and that's it, ahhh soo looking forward to next Sunday races hopefully without that happy tailed Elise , but I want to point out the WELCOME of @singlepaddy as @TEX36 to our division

All the same as much as I miss my old mates from div5 it was great racing against some new faces.

Speaking of Spa I noticed when people were going out of bounds on some of the corners they weren't lifting off the throttle. Because of the large run off areas it's easy to do...I know I was close a few times myself..

It has to be zero throttle even for a split second. Also be careful coming back on track guys..

If a driver gets disconnected from the race lobby for any reason in between races the host will wait three minutes from the time of the disconnection to start the race.


A driver will be given the three minutes to rejoin the lobby for a total of 3 disconnects per night. If a driver disconnects for a fourth time, the host will NOT give them the three minutes to return.


If a driver has been given three minutes and is not back in the lobby, the host must start the race and that driver misses the race.


If a driver gets disconnected from the race lobby during a race for any reason, the host will NOT terminate the race to allow a disconnected driver to rejoin upon their return.

As long as the driver started the race they will receive points for that race.

Ok I think I got it now. Anyways, this is the rig. Its made by a company called openwheeler and fits most any wheel/pedal/shifter make and model. And is VERY comfortable.
