The ABS glitch is so rare it’s not worth worrying about.
It really is just an added redundancy and negates any placebo effect to be questioned. I pm'd you for tonight.

Since DesertPenguin rescinded his reserve entry for the night, @Kermit_2142 will be racing for Moorespeed in the No. 6 Porsche. Get some laps in, and good luck tonight. Race room open at 9pm est.

Sorry guys, don’t get upset. While I’d love running without ABS, Nova says “ain’t gonna happen”. But it still fun to recommend it. If I say it often enough, you’ll all eventually want it (subconsciously).
You’re getting very sleepy . . . when I count to 3, you’ll be overcome with the desire to sim race without assissies.
1 . . .
2 . . .
3 . . .
BOOM! Congratulations, you’re cured.

You know Rob speaks logic here. I agree with him.

If you guys wanna send some money for a loadcell pedal, I'm game.

That was fun :bowdown:
Thanks @llNovall and all drivers.
For me it‘s the perfect series. It‘s perfectly organized and the classes are well balanced, so a guy like me can compete with the really fast guys. That‘s what makes this series so special. :cheers:

Absolutely top notch photography :cheers:. Your capture and lighting style accents these cars perfectly. Very much appreciate the efforts. I will be adding these to the media section on the first page of the series thread.
And, I'm very glad to see the series has built up its own identity and following as something a bit different, but very challenging and fun at the same time for all skill levels. That was always the hope, and I'm happy to see that it has delivered.
Thanks again, and looking forward to our next race night.:cheers:

The Ansel Adams of race photography...great pictures Guido...:cheers:

I would be quite happy if we never run that track ever again in this series. Lol

I can't begin to tell you how pissed off I was at myself for not being anywhere near race pace.

Hopefully next event at Spa I will come out with a good result. It is the track that got me shoved into Plat class after all. Haha.

I am not going to lie and say it was a fun night for me. I hated every bit of it. BUT! Take that with a grain of salt because it was NOT because of the series or anybody else. Pretty sure it was all me and constantly fighting understeer.

Look forward to SPA! Thanks for a good series Nova

Great shots Guido.

It's amazing that after 40 minutes this was the group fighting for 5th:

I've watched the replays a couple times because there was so much that happened. I feel like Nova was on defense for 80 minutes straight!

Again, great racing guys. I'm really looking forward to the rest of this season.

Great shots @RadStewart :cheers:. All photos will be added to the media page for Event #2.
And, 80 minutes of defense...that's no exaggeration :scared: I don't think there was any point where I was actively attacking all night. It was defending, or just trying to get back a position lost. It was a blast...and alot of amazing close quarter battles. Btw, nice patience and execution in Race 2:cheers:

Thanks! Genuinely went into these races with 0 confidence. I was struggling to find the pace in practice, but once the lights went out it came together.

Post Race Report
Event #2
at Sainte Croix-B
August 28th, 2020

Event #2 at Sainte Croix-B...Wow. What an event it turned out to be. Quite simply, there were just too many battles to point out in text. Race 1 saw an intense and nearly full race battle for the midfield spots. Me personally, I felt as if I was on defense the entire race with @Xradkins, @MikeGrove, or @Roman_GT23 constantly on my heels. Race 2 were my attempts at keeping @nmcp1 at bay, and after he won that battle, I spent the remainder of this race fending off constant attack, finally yielding 2 more spots. These are just small glimpses into this race event from my perspective. Have a look at the shared replays or the replay broadcasts below to see the great racing and battles. Amazing on all fronts...attack, defense, etiquette,....all of the above. Great job to all drivers.

Congratulations to our Winner @nmcp1 and our top 3 overall:
1ST: @nmcp1
2ND: @Bologna_Duc
3RD: @MrDonovan

Ballast adjustments will be forthcoming, with a 2% weight ballast add for our winner, and a 1% weight ballast add for our 2nd and 3rd place finishers.

ROSTER BUSINESS
2 Final orders of business before moving on to the Event #3 Newsfeed pm.
1st order:
@MikeGrove
@SAMHAIN85
@GCimprezaFTW
@DesertPenguin
@BB25
@Kermit_2142
@TomMang_68

The above drivers have either raced or have communicated in some form over the first 2 events, and will remain as active on the Reserve Drivers roster. Remaining drivers have been removed.

2nd order of business:
We have an open primary spot available for the NGT Motorsport team.
@TomMang_68 was MIA, no report/no show for Event #2 and therefore forfiets his primary grid spot and will not be eligible for a primary spot until at least 1 event is attended and completed as a Reserve Driver.

@MikeGrove
@SAMHAIN85
@GCimprezaFTW
Each have 1 event raced and are being offered the primary spot.
@SAMHAIN85 has asked to remain a Reserve over numerous offerings, and GCIMPREZAFTW requested to be placed on the Reserve roster after event #1. This basically leaves the spot open for MikeGrove.
@MikeGrove, the open primary spot is yours if you want it.
Below are the 2 available NGT Motorsport liveries to choose from, or you are welcome to render your own livery to the series requirements found in the 1st post.
Let me know if you accept the open primary spot and what your livery preference is:

Thanks heaps once again Nova for the race report & data - I love a good spreadsheet :D
Thanks everyone for a couple of intense and fantastic races!
Race 1 against @Yugofan was all about focus - dude was so close to me, every time I thought I’d made a gap he’d suddenly be back on my bumper again. Awesome, clean racing.
Race 2 was just intense. With Nova doing his best Rudolph impression and leading out a train of reindeer, I just couldn’t get a move to stick & paid the price for my impatience. Stoked I managed to get the fastest lap, but wish I’d done it from 5th rather than 11th...
I’m really happy I managed 3rd overall in my first Porsche comp, while also kicking myself for immediately copping ballast for round 3 :P

Going to put practice again in for the next Michelin & Porsche rounds, but unfortunately step 1 is sorting out a pedal issue - noticed before the race (and saw my brake lights flickering in the replay) that sometimes my brake’s coming on when I’m on straights. A clean out hasn’t fixed it, so need to pull the pedals apart again and see what I can do... Have also installed the GTEYE brake spring, which is going to take some getting used to.

Anyhoo, thanks everyone for the amazing induction into Porsche racing, I had a blast.
See you trackside :cheers:

Wright Motorsports is excited to announce a new principle sponsorship for our #45 car.

After a reasonably successful Event #2, technology giant Apple reached out to Wright Motorsports for a very special sponsorship deal. We're happy to introduce a modern re-creation of the infamous Dick Barbour Racing Porsche 935 K3, sponsored by Apple Computer.

When asked how he felt about the sponsorship change, driver heated_seats didn't mince words:

"Don’t upset the Apple Car."

See you at Spa, folks.
