Sneak Peak : Course Maker?

With the rolling curves going over crests repeatedly, and glassy-smooth surface, and no change in track width, and very large overall area and backdrop, and everything else- It looks like a course creator track to me.

Also I think the only "new and interesting" thing I see about it, if it is a course creator track, is that it has bridges and tunnels, and the sandbox looks very large.

If this is an entirely new track I'd happily pay for this content. However if it is created from the forth coming course creator I would be upset paying for acourse I can create myself at a later date. Either way looks awesome, bring it on asap.

Scenery is really beautiful but the track itself seems really wide and "soul-less". It reminds me an NFS track...

It's definitely a big road. I hope there's some width options when the course maker arrives (everything from "Route X"-wide to "Goodwood"-narrow if I were to decide).

Narrower roads are much more fun for smaller and slower cars. Some tracks are so wide that it feels like you need a map to find the apex in a turn.

I'm thinking it's the new track to be released in Feb, not the Course Maker unfortunately. My guess, Loch Ness Scotland. Looks good, high speed undulations. I look at it as, Any content is good content, cant look a gift horse in the mouth.

Name those games, and which one's have as big of a following as GT does, that has as big of a budget as PD does, which one's have as gigantic of a development cycle that PD does, and which one's promise those things and then fall very EXTREMELY short at release.
That's not what I asked. I asked why those two other devs that also released half finished games and still got away with releasing DLC, but aren't getting complaints like PD is getting. But since you want to try and change the subject, nevermind what I said.

Let's just get back on topic please.

That looks delicious, but what I am hoping is that the course creator has a good deal of varying environments that way I could literally create a Touge course and take my Z round the mountain.

My only complaint is that Kaz and PD tighten up the resources use in GT6 since I don't like racing 9 cars in Arcade mode I want the full grid.

You still haven't identified which games you're talking about, and when did I change the subject? I'm certain I stayed right on topic with your post. I also answered your question, just in question form. Re-read my response.

You will have to PM me to find out, so we won't have to bring this thread off topic, as I started it.

Yeah, as has been said we pretty much know this new track won't be there - though it's feel does resemble bits of the Loch Ness track from Driveclub alright - the Mediterranean town tends to negate that theory though (yes, I know Port Merrion in Wales looks like an Italian town, but that was purpose built as a folly.)

Just read through the pages and I just wanted to make sure of this.

We don't know if the new course is paid DLC or a free update correct?
Up to this point, no official confirmation has been announced right?

Because I read posts claiming the course as DLC, while
some posts were along the lines of 'I can't wait for the update.'

Course Maker or new track, this place looks like the most perfect cruising location so far.
I agree. 👍 The one thing I adore most, is tracks like this one. :D If its a new point to point track, or was created as a p2p track from the Course Maker, shall we do some Outrun style races/cruises in our Ferraris? :)

I'm loving the Mediterranean feel of this track, but I can't help but to feel as if the road is a bit too wide.

I would hope that the course maker would be more than that though, cus as nice as it looks, it looks like a prettier more polished location for the GT5 course maker. With a course maker I want to design a racing circuit more so than a country road. I want to make be able to adjust the runoffs and access road, overpasses and grandstands. Ya know, the whole 9-yards. On another note though, this could be fun for some rally cars! Or perhaps a Targa Florio type race event!

Oh certainly!! I just hope it is in fact a point to point track. GT5 had those stale rally stages that were point to point, so I don't see why they shouldn't add this in the course maker, or some new track.

Indeed. I'm hoping to no end that this was made from a course maker, and made as a p2p track. Although I won't be disappointed if it isn't, but I agree with you.

The track looked very cool in the vid, will be interesting, even better if the track creator can create something such as this.

Not sure where the paid DLC comments came from, at this point there has been no mention of it being paid DLC just a little teaser clip showing some cars on a track. We'll juts have to wait and see. If it was done with the course creator then surely it will be free. If not then it is possible it could be in the form of paid DLC or could still be free. We don't know.

What I really don't get is why people complain about things with no basis for the complaints.

btw If it does turn out to be paid DLC then I will probably be throwing my money at them as well ;)

Even if this is the course maker (doubt it) there could be more than one theme...
