Sneak Peek at Initial D 4th stage

Initial D fanboys rejoice! Here is a link that was sent to me showing some pics from a new race in teh 4th stage. The only way you can access these pics is if you agree to teh following statement, hehe.

Easily not real. There's no writing on the side of the 86. That was simply CG by some amateur. Real fans aren't fooled so easily.

I'm going to correct my last statement, I read the post made by the guy who showed the pictures and I'll say this. He may be correct in saying everything before it "may be" a "sneak peak" at 4th Stage. I'm sure it was just something the company through into the other anime.

I'm not jumping into conclusions or anything but.. about the Tofu sign thing, wouldn't Takumi take it off since he doesn't want to work with his dad anymore?


and even IF some one else did make that, he is very very talented..

I think taking off the tofu shop sign would be heartbraking to all the fans and I did mean to correct the statement about the amateur thing.

It wouldn't be initial d without the tofu shop. In a sense, the 86 IS tofu

I thought 4th Stage was already out in Japan? It would be based on the Manga which is years ahead of any possible TV series (because of all the CG and animation) so it is possible.

I think the pictures on that site are fake though, they look like someone has used the magic tool in paintshop pro or similar and pasted the cars onto a background. If someone wanted to fake a believable picture they should have used Initial D Special Stage on one of the new tracks, taken a screen capture and applied some motion blur filters.

Here's the confession that the thread starter made:

bwahahaha omg I just posted this up before I went to sleep and when I wake up 17 replies and 200+ views. ok ok its not from ID4, like SocalPinoy86 said it is from Dear Boys 14.

it came from this anime

haha I knew there'd be hella people interested in ID4 pix bwhaha hell I'm would be interested too. Any Dear Boys is an anime about a group of boys playing basket ball, kinda like prince of tennis but with basketball. Or like Slam Dunk. I swear whoever worked on Dear Boys had something to do with Initial D though because look at all this.
* The teams captain is named "Takumi Fujiwara".
* The intro sung by hip hop singers and the intro soooo reminded me of Initial D's first intro with the CG and showing of characters.
* Even the characters look kinda like Initial D drawn ones sort of they look a little better
* The anime is done in a style similar to Intial D, cel animation + CG and the CG was pretty corny looking like ID 1st stage.
* Oh and during the matches and stuff in the background they play eurobeat music.
* oh yeah I don't think it has much to do with ID but the teacher/coach is a hot babe that drives a red Miata and she drives it pretty recklessly.

haha anyway in the in the 14th episode of dear boys two of the characters go on a date. And they wind up seeing a movie and then WTF!? a 86 and a Miata are goin at it on the big screen. Even does the gutter drop. Haha I was like WTF!?

haha, serves me right for not reading the whole post, I guess that's why the animation isn't as good as ID, because it was a movie in an anime, so it didn't need to look that great.

I don't think its photoshopped either cuz there is a guy who posted in teh thread who said he edits photos for a living and he says it ain't photoshopped for sure. Also, those pics could still be from a new id ep. Just cuz it doesn't have the tofu sign doesn't mean they can't easily put that in there. Maybe they have a good reason for not putting on the tofu sign.
