Some are angry over his getting a ton of attention by the media. It may be a bit late to stop that, but it would really piss him off if he's caught but his name is never revealed. Probably will say it, but to deny it would almost surely infuriate him as he rots in prison. Call him the defendant on trial, or case # ???

I never have been so pissed in my life until now.

just a while ago my parents told me that because of this goddamned mother****er, I can't go on the Washington D.C. trip with my friends that I've been looking forward to for at least four years. They said that we could go as a family later when this is resolved, but it doesn't seem that the cops are gonna find him in even a year. Also, I don't really want to go with my family. I just wanted to have a nice, fun time with my pals. But no, this asshole had to do this now.

Really? What are the chances of you being shot? I know they aren't very high.

Though, if I had a kid, I probably wouldn't want him to go there with a sniper on the loose.

Yep - there's something of a competency problem with police in the Washington-area.

You mean, they have cops there?

When I was there, I don't think I saw one.

Though there is a statue of on on the sidewalk in a precarious position seeming to be grabbing at someone ass. i took some nice pictures with it grabbing my crotch, though. Oops, sorry for rambling on.

I've been able to cool of a bit, but the thought of not going is pissing me off.

Could M5 put in his ticker that if I make some harsh comment to not take it offensivly and that I'm a bit pissed right now.

This guy is smart. He only fires one shot, because he knows that if more are fired, people can start to home in on his location. But, he is a murderer nonetheless...

Well, to be honest, more people will die from crossing the street than being shot by a sniper...

Let's see there are about 5 million people in that area and nine have died. The oddsa are in you favor that you aren't going to be shot. Of course the guy is still a sick ****.

Or neither. He/she/they'll never be caught. I really don't see how he/she/they will be caught, unless he/she/they really ****s up somewhere.

I highly doubt he will **** up, his shootings or get cocky so it could be quite a while before this guy gets caught or never. If he decided to not kill anymore people he would never get caught and be on the loose forever

i found out today that he shot a person from my grandparents home town, kensington maryland, another in white flint (which is a mall 3 miles from their house) one in wheaton, which is right up the road from their house. And half of my family lives in the Beltway Area :(

The latest is that a military spy plane will fly over the area, and monitor muzzle flashes from above using radar. Whether it really works, or just picks up people igniting their barbeque grills is another matter.

Supposedly, a few people have actually seen him complete the shooting at the Home Depot; he's getting lax in his secrecy; something that unravels nearly every murderer's plans.

I think that people made the stuff up about seeing him completing the shots at home depot for publicity. They might also want the reward that they put up for any tips that lead to the arrest of this guy.

Actually, I was just meeting with a contractor who has several crews in that area. One of his crews was at the gas station (where the engineer got shot) earlier in the same day; and the same crew were also at the Home Depot during the same day. They're like cats on a hot roof, he said.

It's actually pretty funny. When people get gas around here, they keep moving and duck for no aparent reason and then walk around in zig zags some more. They also have police at every gas station too.
