So... Cool vs Hot?

Is one of them statisically better than the other? Personally, I like cool Bobs, because I don't trust him with equally-powered cars, so I give him the most powerful I can, and get him in front. And logic defines that since cool bobs drive faster when cool, it'll be easier for him to retain the lead.
