Yep, GT6 / 5.5 depending on how good it is, is a PS3 title, so the improvements are limited, but will probably be worth a full game price.

But, with the PS4 right around the corner, whenever GT7 could be out, Is say 3-5 years, should we just move into the next title speculation?

Will be easier once we have GT6 & can say 'ok needs more of this, less of that', ect, but there are certain things we can say will come from GT5, others that will be new, and things we won't get until a GT7

Anything that is posted will only be a complete repeat of all the stuff people have asked for in GT6 that hasn't made it anyway. Just look at the car/track request thread and requests other than those thread, that's what people will want in GT7.

It is utterly ridiculous speculating what GT7 will feature when we do not know what GT6 will offer. I would not start speculating before the end of 2014. We will presumably be speculating what Gran Turismo Vita will offer before we move on to GT7...

Not directly confirmed. He said it might come for PS3. Can't remember what his exact words were, something like he can think of a possible GT6 on PS4 release a little later.
