So much for the Trampio

Well, I was in general agreement with those in the know that the Trampio was the quickest car under 390hp. So imagine my surprise when 30 yr old technology handed the trampio's ass to it on a plate. I am of course talking about the Shelby Coupe. I was astounded at the straight line grunt, and even more at the stability of his car.

Just shows, good old v8 hp is sometimes the match for new age 4 inline turbo

Yep, the Cobra Coupe is also great :D

Another one of my favorite cars, thought I had forgotten about it for a long time...

I think the Trampio FTO was a complete let-down after the FTO LM Race Car's From GT. Sure the Trampio FTO looked alright, and handled quite smoothly, But the lack of power and the fact it was FF just took the thrill out of the ride for me. Surely they didnt have to drop the FTO LM Car's in GT2... Thank god they're back in full force in GT3.. being 4WD.

You have to win all-gold tophies in the I-A license to attain the FTO LM (GT1 prize car). Yes, it's difficult as all hell to win.

But with a little tuning, smooth and careful driving, and track practice, you can win the GT500 series with the Little Tramp.

I take my hat off to you guys who get gold in all the licences. I hadnt given it any thought till last week so i got gold for the B licence - the first licence category - and it will be the last. Besides not having any more hair to pull out, the frustration levels of getting a time .009 seconds outside gold is too much. On the one test i got a 32 even, the exact time required for gold, but i got a silver. I eventually beat the clock but it took forever. :banghead:

Yeah I'm all gold except for one in the International licence (I'm just doing it for the Del Sol LM)...but the last one drive me nuts!

It's the high speed slalom with the S2000....I'm barely silver...whatever I do or try...

One day it will be mine...

i hear ya. That test has to be the worst of em all

Yeah, that test wasn't too hard for me, either. I thought the 106 test was tough. The S2000 test only took me like three tries before I beat it, while the 106 test took me about ten!

It makes me sick that you get frustrated after ten tries on some of the hardest tests in the game. It takes me more than ten tries to get a gold on a test in the B license.
