There are two programs that I stumbled along that masters all Alpha paint programs. Yes they are legal. Yes in Alpha.

Paint.NET (no that isn't a website name)
This program is like MS Paint on steroids. It has all of the same tools and so many more. I used this program to make all of my avatars (with the exception of my first custom avatar).
Only available for Windows

Greatest Features:
Layers
Magic Wand select (along with 5 other selection and moving tools)
A history with unlimited "storage"
Blurring/sharpening
Red-eye removal
Distortion
Embossing
3D Rotate/Zoom (I love it)
Have multiple pictures in "tabs"
Adjustments like Sepia, B&W, And several types of color settings
Outlining NEW!

GIMP
This (so I have heard) is the Grand Poo-bah (yes that is how its spelled) of paint programs. That is why it is commonly referred to as The GIMP. Haven't tried it yet. I hope I will soon.

This is supposed to be far better than Photoshop. This is like a mix of
Corel Paint Shop Pro X (if youve ever heard of it) and Photoshop CS (I'm pretty sure youve heard of it).

This is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Features:

:bowdown:EVERYTHING & MORE

Actually, you may not have had to read this because you probably have photoshop if you are in this forum.

What MachOne meant to say was:

"I'm sorry, but both of these programs, especially GIMP, have been posted many times before, and they are already widely known throughout GTP. I also doubt that anyone would agree that GIMP is better than PhotoShop, and I advise you to search before posting a new thread."

Look, I know you respect me. Somewhat. I was once a lot worse than usedHONDA (no offense, uH) and now I'm better. I think, with some helpful advice, he can correct his mistakes.

Or actually, I just want to be a better wannabe-moderator than you :P

I have been very careful with my posting ever since my first infraction. Yet I was dumb enough to get 2 other warnings and another infraction. The last two were threads I started that Der Alta didn't like ("the uber link thread" and the "were did that link come from?" thred).

I have more to offer, now!!!!!
