Bearing in mind you would have to slow to 30mph (~50kph) to raise or lower it on the move!

While its pretty cool in GTA to open and close tops on the fly, I feel like modeling everything just right for every functioning soft or hardtop would take quite a few resources. I'd rather that time and effort be spent else where and just allow the user to decide in the menu before the race, practice or what ever your doing... I chose dependant on the weather since it was the closest option.

I think the best way would be to put it in the cars set up options. While we're at it, putting the top down should lower your top speed and effect your fuel economy.

I think it would be a waste of time to make it so we could move them in game. I'd be fine if they just let us choose before we start driving. Unless it's raining I guess.

I'd like this feature, however I don't see it being implemented. PDI seem to deny that there are differences between standard & premium cars on GT6, and considering standard cars don't have detailed interiors, this feature would be only be available on premium cars. And well that would destroy PDI's marketing ploy of standards being equal to premiums.

You should be able to adjust it on the track in my opinion. In GT4 it was al ready possible to set it up before going to the track, in GT5 it wasn't possible at all. But it would be awesome to choose while driving like in a real car. And then also at the same top speed to open/close the roof as the real cars have.

Quite funny that we do not even have any kind of choice on GT5 and by randomly decisions some stunning top down convertibles can only be driven mandatory with the roof up, life is hard... for car lovers

Yes, I would love to have control over such things

But I agree, that we should be able to chose when taking the car from the garage, rain or shine.

I miss having the option up or down. Just wrong to have the MX5s with the tops up.

Set it to open or close at beginning of the race; to change it, you have to make a pit stop.

I would like to choose weather I have it up or down. Maybe with a feature like ildd, but if your just cruising by yourself in arcade mode you can change it how you want.
