I have recently begun thinking about purchasing a PS3 this fall, when GT5 comes out. I've been deciding whether to buy an Xbox or a PS3. I have played Forza back since number 2, and the controller on the Xbox, with its analog shoulder axes, allowed me to play Forza well and have fun, without the need for a steering wheel. I own Forza 2 and 3, but I have always played them on my friend's Xbox's, because I do not own my own.
While GT5 looks astonishing, what worried me about buying a PS3 was the controller. How would I drive with just a button for the gas and brake? Luckily, however, one company solved my problems.
It was featured at E3, and they plan on putting it into production for a price lower than that of a normal PS3 controller. They also plan to move to other consoles (namely the Xbox) and possibly PC if they get enough buyers.
I will certainly be buying it, and I hope you do too, those of you out there that don't necessarily want to buy a huge, bulky, expensive racing setup.
