Something u struggle with alot is having a push on a longer corner when throttle is applied. By lowering rear downforce is drastically reduces the push, with minimal negatives.
Has anything else worked for you guys?

softening front rebound power-on will transfer the weight faster to the rear of the car, thus lightening the front and pushing worse.

No-one else uses less rear wing to fix this problem?

^ I believe it reduces the damper "pulling" the wheel upwards as the nose lifts, thus keeping more weight on the front wheels (during weight transfer), thus reducing power-on understeer. But whatever works for you...

Aerodynamic understeer is a separate issue, but if the "proper" methods failed to reduce power understeer then, yes, downforce is one of the other settings I would resort to.

On a longer corner, stiffening the rear springs and/or rear ARB will give you better results. Reducing rear toe and/or adding front negative camber will help as well.
