Some CSS Help....Aligning Images

Well, I saw Sunny's and Don's site, and though I would make one of my own. My badwith is pretty good, so I'm gonna put up some videos later. But right now I have an issue with the image in the header (I took the layout form blulayout, I am really ignorant when it comes to CSS). This is the index page, you can see the image at the top witht the two stripes, well I want that pushed up to overlap the gray bar exactly. http://skipweb.cjb.net/

And please, explain in small words, I'm pretty ignorant. General comments would also be appreciated regarding the site layout.

Well, never mind, I fixed it. But I'll leave this thread open as I will undoubtedly have more questions......
