Just today i have picked up my copy of GT2 and rememberd how i watched my brother with his friend play the game. I decided to give it ago, to pass it all (what i doubt) by the time GT4 comes out. Now the graphics suck, i forgot how horrible they look, it's just then when there was the PSX they looked amazing. Well anyway i'm getting used to the graphics. And now i have a problem. Every time i race and come first, i don't get a gold trophy, i get a silver one!!! what is up with that? i raced all three races in the sunday cup and came 1st in all of them, but the trophies that i got are silver and i didn't even get a price car at the end Can some one tell me what is the problem or is it supposed to be like that? or am i supposed to get all golds in the licenses??? HELP!!

you have to come in first to get the prize car.

and you get a car for every race you do and in the case of series you get one at the end of the series. Even though i dont think you get any prize off rally events.

Licences dont matter as long as they are passed unless you want the licence prize cars

The first two seriess in the special events, the Sunday cup and the Clubman cup don't have any prize cars. Neither do the any of the cups in the national races in the official GT league, the internationals and the world cup offer prize cars and all of the special events barring the Sunday and clubman cups. You get a prize car for each race of every series exept the GT300, GT500 and GT world cups which are all series races and you need to win the series to win one of four random prize cars. Each of the endurance races offer one of two random prize cars barring the Trial mountain 30 laps which only has opne possible prize.

Thanx for the help, but you haven't told me why aren't the trophies gold, or are they supposed to be silver???

They just look silver, if you finish anything but first you see a number ie 2 for second. If you finish a race in one position the re-do it and finish further back say you finish 2nd then 3rd the number will still be 2 until you finnish higher so you'd have to win it, then it's replaced by a cup and that stays there.
